Trading support for satisfied shipments
LUMAFEX assists clients including analyzing production time to ensure on time delivery of goods for shipment.
We make recommendations on payment structures, which may include agreement on stage payments. For instance, once final product specifications are determined, deposits of approx 30% may be transmitted to ensure production proceeds. Once production is finalized, our local representatives visit factories, facilities or shipment terminals as required to ensure the product being shipped meets the demands of the orders placed and to the specifications required.
We can also provide personal supervision of loading of containers to ensure that mistakes are minimized and correct products and quantities are actually shipped. Once all parties are satisfied, goods are moved according to the pre-arranged logistics schedules, ensuring a seamless process from manufacturer to your door.
Various payment mechanisms and banking processes can be utilized, including CAD (Cash against documents), Payment Upon Documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List and B / L), LC (Letter of credit where the bank is liable for payment in accordance with the instructions agreed between supplier and importer).
